I am genuinely surprised at the amount of work I completed this week. Tuesday me thought about Friday night me many a time and in every rendition I was thinking about the relief that would come. Presently though, I'm not thinking about relief, but more along the lines of preparation.

Academic Things

Here's a rundown
- the quarter system is hard; there is too much to do
Basically, there are ten weeks and it's always very clear what week it is as people always refer to time in weeks. Then there're 3 quarters: autumn, winter, spring.

- classes counted in units; 1 unit is equal to 3 hours per week
It's recommended 12-15 units for the first quarter because "exploring campus is like a three unit class" but generally it's whatever you want; there are people taking 20+ units. 

- there exists random requirements that need to be completed
I've made a lovely spreadsheet to keep track of it all. I do appreciate a good spreadsheet.

Ha ha I am so late on this one and everything is going downhill (like when I bike to class)
Most of my life is taken up with reading about Hadrian/Marcus Aurelius/old things, small Spanish assignments, and computer science homework assignments. And some combination of those is the excuse I will give for not posting in time.
