Dio: Who is so productive, even during spring break

Like whaaat? /holds out hand for high five
Anyways, as the title states, it's spring break!
To be accurate, it's been two days since spring break began, and Dio's already bored. I'm actually already writing up my research paper due about a month after spring break...

That's about it. I would spew more, expect I am already bored and this in itself is taking effort. Dio signing off.

Dio: Welcome to the New, Revamped Blog, aka Dio's Awesome-Space

Since it looks like I'm the only one left, well then, I'll just make this a "whatever-I-want-to-talk-about" blog (not to say it wasn't before, but I'm expanding my rambles to many other things now as well, including social interactions).

This past month has been hard, hard work. Well, mostly. Also really late nights because I live next to a party dorm. It's not pretty when they're playing music at two AM and your windows are vibrating and you have an 8 AM tomorrow. It's not.

Homework has been pretty heavy these past few weeks. I'm on a full course load (17.5/18 credits! and planning to overload), and every one of my classes have homework besides my PE class (which doesn't even count for credit. It just counts for PE credits, which doesn't count as actual academic credit. I'm taking volleyball for PE. The last time I played was for PE in high school (remember mandatory PE? Yeah, that was so fun). I get really pretty bruises on my forearms every week, but it's worth it (yes, catching vicious serves hurt because I like playing middle back, okay. it's either that or left front where I can punch the ball and hope it stays in).

Also, it rained and now it's cold.

Well, Dio out. Dio may not post next week because it's spring break next week here.

Dio: My New Love Interest is Homework

So, Valentine's Day is around the corner! Let's talk love interests! My most recent one is homework. It's great. Also I have three tests coming up.

Second semester freshman year started really nicely - I had free time, I could sleep eight hours a night, etc. etc.

Then last week hit, and suddenly the profs were like "here a quiz!" and "here's homework that will take you half your weekend to solve, enjoy".

At this rate I might just become a math major because it's less work.

Dio signing off because studying.

Dio's Current Status: Swamped by Homework, brb drowning

Welcome to second semester, right? First graded semester, six classes (two of which are higher level courses but I still need to take them to fulfill credits) and a lab (where the professor tells us "don't be formal" but proceeds to nitpick on the tiniest details we left out). I have a legitimate excuse for missing last week's post, btw; I was doing homework from when I got out of class (12 pm) until I went to bed (12 am). It was great. Also, I've spent seven hours this weekend working on two problems for physics. Also great.

Will post more updates that will get more erratic as homework piles up. March 7th is going to be very joyful (a test, three problem sets, and a special class session that day). Dio signing off.

Rin: Soon to be the End of Winter Trimester

Finals for winter session is here in a week and I'm not ready for that. This was suppose to be a relaxing 6 week semester. If you only take one class. I took two and class is five times a week. I guess it's not as bad as fall semester. I've pulled two all-nighters for my comics class, but staying up all night doing comics is pretty fun. It's not one of those projects where you question your crushingly misguided life decisions at 4 a.m. Though the morning after is always a bit difficult.

Speaking of semester, I got my professors (we have a lottery system for first year)! They're apparently fantastic teachers but especially heavy in workload.

It looks like my roommate and I are finally getting the desk shelves we've been talking about for the past year. Our roof slants down over our desk so there's no space for hanging shelves like in other dorms. Getting packages in the mail, how exciting.

Oh yeah, it's snowing! Haha, it's fun for all of ten minutes until you realize you have to walk down an icy hill with snow blocking your view

Dio: Back to School After A Month of Nothingness

So I am rather happy to be back at school after a month of growing increasingly bored. Sure, it means more work and less sleep, but at the same time it also means seeing friends who I interacted with on a daily basis and then stopped seeing for a month. At the same time, it means having things to do.

Not much to say, besides don't bring too much stuff with you when you go back home from winter break. I did that this time. It was a mistake.

Dio signing off.
